Design and Concept
Established in 1969 as the Singh family home, The Rohet House has been transformed into a luxury residence. Thakurani Rashmi Singh, the creative force behind Rohet Garh and Mihir Garh, has harmonised traditional and contemporary luxury in beautiful ways. Hand-painted Krishna frescoes decorate the rooms, while Jodhpur sandstone in soft pink and red tones echoes the city's palette.
Know Your Host
The Singh family brings decades of hospitality excellence from their House of Rohet portfolio, Rohet Garh and Mihir Garh. The late Thakur Manvendra Singh and Thakurani Jayendra Kumari pioneered their hospitality journey, and today Sidharth and Rashmi Singh, with son Avijit, carry forward the legacy. Thakurani Rashmi crafts each elegant room, oversees menus and public spaces, bringing her distinctive aesthetic to every detail.

A day’s visit to Rohet Garh and a Village Safari is also bookable locally. It is one of The Rohet House's signature experiences, allowing guests to feel the very pulse of rural Rajasthan. Visit homes of the villagers to learn about their lives, like the Bishnois, often called the ‘premier ecologists of the world,’ who enjoy a special relationship with the blackbuck antelope, a rare and protected species. One can also encounter Raikas (shepherds) with their glorious costumes, and the Paliwals and Meghwals, the Brahmin farmers and weavers.
Learn how to make Laal Maas, Ker Sangri, Lasan (garlic) Chutney, bread made from millet flour, and other Rajasthani delicacies in a culinary workshop conducted by the trained chef at The Rohet House, inspired by the Late Thakurani Sahiba Jayendra Kumari's cookbooks and handwritten recipes.
