The Nanee has 18 rooms and suites across four types. Standard Rooms feature queen beds; two-level Lofts offer high ceilings and large windows; Sky Garden Rooms include lounge areas overlooking the courtyard; and Nepali Suites come with in-room hot tubs.

The city’s Durbar Square—just a short walk from The Nanee—features temples, courtyards and palaces, including the famous 55 Window Palace. Although only about 13 kilometres from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur retains a distinctive cultural identity that rewards a slower, more immersive visits.
Design and Concept
The Nanee interprets traditional Newari architecture through a contemporary boutique hotel setting. Inspired by the Nyatapola Temple and guided by principles of Vaastu Shastra, the design references the five elements—earth, water, fire, air and space.
The property is organised around a central courtyard, echoing the layout of historic Newari homes, while wood carving, brass, terracotta and textiles connect the interiors to the region’s artistic traditions.
