We believe, the pandemic was the biggest opportunity for all mankind to understand that climate change is real and that we are responsible. A time to make a song of the noise, put power behind words and commitment to promises. We don’t all have the answers but together we are a force that can change the course of our collective destiny…..as an industry,  as a traveller and as a world citizen.

RARE India, since 2004, has often defied and defined trends and our community of pioneering hoteliers have promoted concepts and continue to create value within the community and the industry. RARE We present our logo - a simple, stylised leaf in gold of Ginkgo biloba, familiar to many as the maidenhair tree and is a metaphor for change. Originally from the east, Ginkgo is a living fossil and has been around since before the Dinosaurs, deliberately propagated by avid horticulturists, it is found almost everywhere. You will see it, walking in the gardens in Kashmir, in the avenues of London and  in the lanes of Manhattan. RARE 2.0 just like the logo aims to be a timeless dialogue sustained and consciously propagated by travellers.

The pivot to RARE 2.0 is to encourage travellers to explore the world around them through the lens of sustainability and ownership for the health of the planet. As we bring responsibility and commitment to centre focus, RARE India’s commitment continues towards conscious and mindful travel where luxury is defined as experiences beyond excesses, and stays that are sustainable and regenerative. The website emphasizes a shift to a new paradigm when ‘how’ you travel is all important and allows you to explore this ‘beautiful planet’ mindfully and sensitively. RARE Touchstones are a unique value proposition for every hotel of the community, they benchmark awareness and a conscious choice to create value beyond the ubiquitous luxury and service quality.
